I'm riding in memory of Shlomo Zalman Rindenow Z”L, a family friend.
We first met when he was five years old. He, along with his wonderful parents and eight older siblings, moved above us in our Passaic, NJ apartment building.
Shlomo did everything with a smile, even through difficult times. He was passionate about innovation and philosophy and was hoping to become an engineer. He followed his family’s love and devotion for Israel and decided to enlist in the IDF as a lone soldier. He served in the Engineering Corps Battalion 601 for 16 months before he was tragically killed on the 17th of July, 2016.
