If you're on this page, you've already heard about my cousin Yitzy Nadoff before.
On October 7, 2023, he was in Israel visiting - and decided to stay. An American paramedic who had already served in the IDF as a lone soldier, he immediately made aliyah, and has since served 479 days of miluim (Israeli military reserve service). Assuming that he was able to get into a unit on October 8, 2023 (spoiler alert: he wasn't) it means that he was in service more than 70% of the time. As I mentioned last year, he actively seeks out other units to be able to serve between his official shifts even when his unit isn't called up to action!
There are two big events in about two weeks.First, Yitzy is getting married in Israel. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend, but I will be there in spirit. Second,
Nevut will be having their annual ride and run. As things stand now, I also will not be able to attend, but I will be there in spirit, and hope to ride locally.
However, given the confluence of these two events, my belief in Nevut's mission, and Yitzy's perseverance in going the extra mile, I've signed up again in his honor.
More about Nevut can be found below. Thanks in advance for your consideration, especially since, if you are on this page, you've likely already donated to Bike4Chai and Nevut in the past.
